However, not many people know what these athletes bring with them to their events. Marching band carries specific items that a typical athlete wouldn’t have in their bags. Junior, Allison Kane has her own specific items that she keeps in her bag.

Question: What is the most important thing in your bag?

Answer: The most important item would be my dot book because when I’m learning 40 sets, it gets hard to remember where and when to stand.

Q: How long does it take to prepare your bag?

A: It takes me about 10 minutes.

Q: If you were to forget one thing in your bag what would it be?

A: I would most likely forget my drill masters because sometimes it’s hard to remember you don’t already have them on.

Q: Are there any punishments for forgetting specific items in your bag?

A: Not exactly, if you forget something important, you’re just going struggle because everything is important.

Q: If your marching band bag was lost, how much would it cost to replace it?

A: Everything in my bag adds up to be around $1,050.

Q: What is most valuable in your bag?

A: The most valuable thing in my bag is my clarinet, it cost around $1,000.

Q: Can you tell me some uses for important items in your bag?

A: I use my clarinet to play, my drill masters to march, my binder has all my music and sets in it, and my dot book has all the set places.
