From personal gain to team motivation, the weight attracts many great reasons why to workout. The deck is not just open for free, but also provides a wide selection of work outs. From 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. the deck is open after every school day, a student could find themselves strength lifting, maxing out or increasing their endurance. The free deck and training space is only part of the reasons why students chose to workout.
“As a football player, I am encouraged by my coach and teammates to stay fit and healthy during the off season,” said sophomore Jared Strohmen. “Lifting on the deck helps me become a stronger player on and off the field.”
The deck is a great place for athletes to stay fit and gain muscle to strength their sports performance. Whether one is looking staying fit or to gain muscle the deck is a key place for athletes to workout. Although being fit is required for sports, working out can also be for personal gain.
“I wanna be the biggest and strongest person I can be, also the school is a nice free place where one could release stress and anger” said junior Ryan Olsen.
The weight deck provides a free friendly environment for all. Also, several coaches will be in attendance as they will aid with workout plans and safety.
