This year’s girl’s soccer team tryouts are Monday, February 27. Some of the returning players from last year have high hopes and expectations for the team.

“We definitely want to win regionals this year. We have been so close every year, and we’ve been working really hard,” junior Danielle Brose said.

The past two years have been tough on the girls; they fell just short the past two seasons from winning regionals. However, they are not hanging their heads low, and they are looking forward to an exciting season.

“Last year, we had a lot of underclassmen, but this year many of us are returning and all have more experience playing in a game. That should really be helpful,” junior Morgan Keefer said.

With many younger players on the team last year, not everyone had a experience playing in a Varsity game. Throughout the season, however, they learned a lot from the older players. This year the team is hoping for a lot of success because of the level of skill and experience all the players have.
