Keys N Krates

Keys N Krates, a more unique music group, is the creation of drummer Adam Tune, keyboard player David Matisse, and award winning turntablist, Jr. Flo. They have been titled the first traditional “trap band.” Keys N Krates are different than artists of the same genre because of their use of traditional musical instruments and their live performances and recordings.

Senior Allie Gelander, a huge fan and supporter of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) said, “I have actually seen Keys N Krates live and I love it. I have also seen other djs live, I think that it’s nice that Keys N Krates can put on a different show each time because it’s live music. Recordings are also good, but at some point they all start to sound alike. I do love both though.”

Unlike more famous EDM artists, like Deadmau5 and Armin Van Buuren who have been accused of being “untalented” and guilty of just pressing play on a pre-recorded mix at live concerts, Keys N Krates is full of instrumental musicians who play live. They have been performing all over Europe and North America at almost every music festival you can name. You kind find all of their music on Spotify for you to stream when you want to listen to music with hard hitting beats, incredible synth work and amazing turntable skills.
