The Tom Tom is back with another “Twitter Poll Tuesday.”

Lately, the Internet has been creating a lot of buzz about the popular shoe brand Vans after a recent Vine went viral. We wanted to know if Vans truly were our follower’s shoe of choice or if students favored competitor shoe company Converse.

This week we took to Twitter to decide the favorite of the two beloved shoe brands.

The race was neck-and-neck throughout the day, but in the end Converse received 26 votes (42 percent) and Vans managed to rack together 36 of the 62 votes (58%percent) making them this week’s poll winners.

Converse lovers it may be time to check out what all the buzz is about and purchase yourself a pair of Vans.
