As of right now, Grayslake Central is in the lead of the Northern Lake County Conference for girls basketball. The Rams are currently 12-1 in the NLCC and 19-7 in the regular season. Their only loss was to Antioch.

The Sequoits are right behind Grayslake Central in second place, with an 11-1 record in conference play and a 24-3 record overall. They play Grayslake North, Wednesday, February 8, at Grayslake North. Antioch has the ability to become co-champions of the NLCC if they beat Grayslake North this week. 

In third place of the Northern Lake County Conference is Grayslake Central, with an 8-4 record in the conference.

Closely following, in fourth place is Grant Community High School with a 6-6 record.

Lakes Community High School brings up fifth place with a conference record of 7-7, finishing in fifth place in the Northern Lake County Conference. There are a total of eight teams in the competitive Northern Lake County Conference.
