Family and Friends- Family and friends aren’t always different from each other. Oftentimes, they are one and the same. For sophomore Miranda Chamberlin the people in her life are always ones she can count on.

“I’m most thankful for my family and friends,” Chamberlin said. “When I have a bad day they are always there for me.”

Food – The food that someone has access to is often more than what they realize. Many suffer and die from lack of nutrition on a daily basis. Especially during Thanksgiving when all of the food is laid out, be thankful that one has what they need to simply survive.

Laughter- There will always be good days and bad days, but be thankful for the laughter that comes around on those happy days with friends. The best memories that one has are often laughter filled and surrounded by the people one loves the most.

Opportunity- Be thankful for the opportunities that life presents because not everyone gets the same options. Not all opportunities are given, sometimes they must be made, so appreciate the options that one may have because not everyone has that same choice.

Little things- Oftentimes, people focus on the large aspects of life that they must be thankful for, but there is so much more. Little things happen everyday that one should take the time to appreciate. Many own pets, but don’t take the time to appreciate the unconditional love they show every day. Music is something that impacts many, but not all take the time to thoroughly enjoy the feeling that their favorite song gives them. Be thankful for little things around you, even if it seems as if nothing else is going right.
