The Rise of the Clown

The remake of the hit movie “It” made its debut.

Scary movies are the best way to go when trying to enjoy a fun night out with your friends. The New movie “It” came out on September 8 and is packed with jump scares and creepy scenes. The movie, directed by Andrés Muschietti, is about a clown that lives in the sewers and goes after young children. This movie is rated R and was given a 7.9/10 by IMDb. This remake of the classic film is about two hours long and will knock your socks off.

Junior Jasmin Brean recently watched and enjoyed the new movie.

“I’d say it was pretty good, it had a lot of good laughs and corny jokes,” Brean said. “There was some gore but the whole effect on it was very creepy.”

This movie was enjoyed by many of those who viewed it and the same can be said for Brean.

“Overall I do recommend it for others because it’s the original recreated into something we can laugh and scream at,” Brean said.

This movie is good in its own way as it differs from the original. New technology allows for the movie to leave a stronger impact on its viewers. The same can be said for many new horror movies such as Happy Death Day, which will be hitting theaters on October 13.

October is coming up and with it comes Halloween. There are always good scary movies out there for people to watch and enjoy during the season, and “It” is definitely one of them.
