The Walking Dead is back.

The show was a hit when it first came out in October of 2010 and continues to be outstanding throughout the first four seasons. This post-apocalyptic television series, developed by Frank Darabont, is based on a comic book series and is now one of the most watched shows on television. It’s returning to AMC for its fifth season in mid-October.

In the upcoming season, which is set to premiere Oct. 12, the group is faced with many new challenges. Season four left off on a huge cliffhanger with some of the show’s most popular characters being trapped in a train car by the people at Terminus. Many of The Walking Dead‘s viewers are curious and anxious about what is to come next for the characters. Will they make it out of Terminus alive? Will they stay together or split up again? Will they defeat the zombies and come out alive? All of these questions are expected to be answered throughout season five.

Get ready for some more blood thirsty zombies and the group, led by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), as they take on more challenges that test their survival skills.
