On Tuesday, March 3. the freshman at Antioch Community High School took the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). Along with the sophomores taking the practice ACT and the juniors taking the much anticipated ACT.
“The test was really easy, the essay portion of the test was some what difficult, but overall it was good. I think it was a big learning experience and many students will benefit from it and the school should continue to do these kind’s of test to check progress on a students education growth,” freshman Nikki Stramaglio said.
The juniors felt they had a lot of pressure Tuesday morning taking the ACT.
“The ACT is a very helpful test but I do not think it affects a students life after high school because of the many different ways to find success,” junior Nick Hairrell said. “If your not going to college it is just kind of a waste of time, and if you do bad the first time do not worry because you can take the test as many times as you want.”
If you are worried about how you did on the ACT don’t be, you can take it as many time as you feel is needed until you are satisfied with your score.
