More recently in social media, society, makeup ads and stores, eyebrows seem to be becoming more of a priority when doing makeup than in the past.

Coloring, shaping and dying eyebrows different colors and even tattooing eyebrows are all becoming more and more popular, not only among high school students, but people of all ages.

This trend started becoming popular among celebrities, influencing both girls and boys to enhance their own as well.

Junior Megan Brichetto has always been interested in makeup and new makeup ideas and trends. She started shaping her eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil this past summer and is continously trying to improve them.

“Shaping my eyebrows makes me feel sassy and completed, almost like I can do anything with them on fleek,” Brichetto said.

This new trend that has grown in popularity in the past year has given girls not only style, but confidence. Such a simple change in fashion and makeup is starting to make a big leap in self confidence.
