Sean Combs, otherwise known as “P. Diddy” is an American rapper facing multiple charges for a plethora of different issues. In contrast to his legal troubles, Combs first rose to fame around the late 1990s, producing and making his own music. Throughout the early 2000s, he became well-known as he collaborated with Nelly, Kanye West, Usher and more.
As of this year, Combs circulated throughout social media such as TikTok, Instagram and X, due to mounting allegations against him. Sep. 11, 2024 marked Combs’ tenth assault lawsuit against him. As a result of this lawsuit, $1.2 million was requested for emotional, physical and sexual abuse towards victim Dawn Richards.
One day after his arrest, Combs was charged with three counts that included sex trafficking, interstate prostitution and racketeering conspiracy. Combs pleaded not guilty, placing him under house arrest along with a 50 million dollar bond. Upon Combs’ arrest, over 10 additional victims came forward and filed lawsuits against him.
It is alleged that Combs would host parties that included many of his close friends and celebrities, which may have a connection with his arrest, although what happened at those parties is currently unknown.
Amid a federal investigation, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) raided Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes on March 25, 2024. During this raid, over 1000 bottles of baby oil were discovered by cops in his home that were allegedly “laced with drugs” according to Combs’ lawyer.
A conspiracy is spiraling around concerning whether well-known celebrities are involved in this scandal. These names include Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Kanye West and others.
As more conspiracies spiral, English singer and songwriter, Liam Payne, passed away on Oct. 16, 2024 due to falling off a balcony in a hotel in Argentina. Toxicology reports were done, revealing that he not only had alcohol but also “pink cocaine” in his system. Pink cocaine is a drug that combines a mixture of psychoactive substances. Allegedly, Combs is connected to the pink cocaine and would lace his victims with this.
From famous to infamous, Combs is facing serious charges and lawsuits and could face up to years in prison.
