The Bow Tie Cause
The bow tie is no longer just a fashion accessory, it’s a movement.
More stories from Nick Andre
Former NFL linebacker, Dhani Jones, created a company that supports a range of things from diseases, education, etc. Each tie helps raise awareness and money for the cause at hand.
One of Jones’s friends, Kunta Littlejohn, always told Jones to rock the bowtie and he brushed it off. When Littlejohn was diagnosed with Lymphoma, he wore one to support him. After that, Jones sparked the idea to create a company that made bow ties for a variety of causes. Jones’s company sells the bow ties and donates the money raised to the organization or company that requested it or it was made for. Jones personally designs all of the bowties himself and is now running another business, The Bow Tie Cafe, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our town and school has had many tragedies and heartbreaks in the past couple years. With our town coming together and supporting some of these events the way our people did, maybe we can come together and contact Bow Tie Cause and have one designed for something we have all experienced.
