This week on “Talking Trends” we are taking a look at the most used apps of 2017.
1. Bitmoji
This app allows you to create a personalized emoji of yourself. This app is most famously connected with the app “Snapchat” which has supported the linking of the two applications since the beginning of the year. What I really like about this app is the plethora of outfits the user can choose from in order to make each character unique.
2. Snapchat
I think most teens can agree that this was one of their most used apps of 2017. This photo sharing app has swept the nation with the amount of users that it has gained in just this past year. It’s a quick and easy way to share pictures with your friends.
3. Youtube
While Youtube has been around for quite sometime now, the app itself has been used a lot more in this past year, maybe to the loss of Vine in early 2017. Downloading the app makes it easier for you to open and search for anything you might want, from a vlog to a how-to video.
4. Instagram
Similar to Youtube, Instagram has been around for quite some time, but has managed to stay at the top of this list for all this time. Teenagers from all over the world use this app to share photos with followers. This app also keeps friends and family connected no matter where you are.
5. Google Photos
This one by far is my favorite on this list because it allows you to store millions of photos in the app which clears up a lot of space on your phone for music, games, and even some more photos. Also, it takes up less than a gigabyte of data which further keeps the storage space on your phone free for other things.
