Tom Brady celebrates his fifth Super Bowl victory over the Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

Super bowl LI will go down as one of the most memorable Super Bowls of all time for both sides. This was the first super bowl where both teams were tied at the end of the regulation and went into overtime.

For the Falcon’s fans their hearts must of been broken, by blowing a 25 point lead at the half, but for all those Patriot fans it was glorifying to see Tom Brady come in clutch throwing 466 yards and was 43 for 62 on passes, and threw two touchdowns to win himself his fifth ring. He also received his fourth Super Bowl MVP. Not to mention, they were down in the 4th quarter by 19. Making Tom Brady the only player to have won five super bowls with the same franchise.

Even though the falcons fell short, they still had an honorable season. Matt Ryan, the quarterback for the Falcons, was the MVP of the NFL, and Devonta Freeman also had a great season and finished in the top ten of running backs. Also, Julio Jones had a season for the ages, making him one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. It was an important season for them but they still have much more room for improvement. Maybe we can see a rematch of Super bowl LI next year.
