Sophomore Hannah Benes, a young talent on this years team had quite the day. She put up impressive numbers and has improved from recent years. She was excited to put in a few words for her star teammates and coaches.
“We all had so much energy,” said Benes. “ Everyone was psyched to race and just to be all around each other.”
Everyone on the team had a great night and the most fun they would have imagined. Runners were cheering for runners and throwers were cheering for throwers. It was only the first meet, but a very successful one. Everyone can’t wait to carry on their greatness and to improve every practice and meet.
