Lacrosse shorts are different of the fact that they have different and crazy designs; making them stand out from standard shorts. The designs range from having checkerboard print, to monkeys and bananas. There is no certain design for lacrosse shorts, as they vary from each team.

Most of the teams will have the checkerboard print with their logo on the shorts for games, and shorts with something like monkeys and bananas on them for practice. Some of the crazy shorts that lacrosse players wear aren’t for everyone.

“I think some are a little too crazy, but others are pretty cool,” freshman Nick Bucci said.

The most popular brands that make lacrosse shorts are Lax World, Nike and Under Armour. Lax World makes more of the crazy designs, while Nike and Under Armour make the more basic shorts that players would tend to wear during games.

There are some similarities between lacrosse shorts and normal athletic shorts. The length of the shorts are about the same length and texture as basketball shorts. So the only difference between lacrosse shorts and normal shorts is the design.
