Shine Bright Dance Studio Fundraiser
Shine Bright Dance Studio to host a fundraiser to benefit the new “Dances for Life” program.
October 30, 2014
The local Antioch, Ill. Shine Bright Dance Studio, which was opened last November by owner Robin Parfitt, will be hosting a fundraiser on Nov. 21 to benefit the new “Dances for Life” program opening up at the studio.
“Dances for Life” will showcase dance students’ original and specially choreographed dance numbers at a variety of school, community and charity events. The goal is to create dances that have a strong message and benefit others. The incredible part about this program is that it will be completely free for all students participating. Students will receive free costumes and choreography for the events they perform at.
Shine Bright Dance Studio issued a statement that said, “The aim is to take the art of dance and create a visual language to express inspiring messages to impact youth in the community and foster positive change.”
Not only is the new program beneficial to the dancers participating, but it also allows them to give back, reach out to the community and use their talents for the benefit of others.
The fundraiser will be held at Parkway by the Lake in Ingleside, Ill., from seven until 10 p.m. The event will include dinner, a raffle, a silent auction and performances by Shine Bright dance students. Tickets can be purchased at Shine Bright Dance Studio.
The studio looks forward to beginning this innovative new program and continuing to allow their students to “shine bright like a diamond.”
