On Tuesday, Oct. 7, the Antioch Community High School girls varsity volleyball team took on Lake Forest Academy twice. The Sequoits won both games with the scores of 25-14 and 24-19. It was a great night for the Sequoits. They played a well executed game, truly coming together as one team to get the win.

“It was super exciting. I loved that it was senior night and that we won. We served aggressive and played aggressive. It was a nice night,” said head girls varsity volleyball coach Jamie Atkinson. “I loved the fact that the nine seniors on the team dominated the whole game and we were very consistent.”

“I think the games went well and we played great together, we used our plays very effectively and were consistent throughout the night. We had good communication as well,” said ACHS junior Stephanie Masse.

The girls varsity volleyball team is a very promising team, every week they play they improve and dominate their opponents.
