As the snow starts to melt and spring break calls your name, it is time to update your wardrobe for whatever destination awaits you. Whether you are heading to the Bahamas, skiing down the Colorado slopes, exploring Chicago or hiking in the Montana mountains, we have got the perfect ideas to take your style to the next level.
Nassau, Bahamas
Imagine you are soaking up the sun on the pristine beaches of Nassau with a piña colada (virgin, of course). Your parents tell you to go shower in the hotel before a nice dinner on the beach. What will you wear? To begin this look, start with an aqua blue sequin maxi skirt to match the crystalline water of the Bahamas. Next, due to the flashiness of the skirt, balance your outfit with a simple white halter top to show off your amazing tan. To finish this look off, add simple gold jewelry and a pair of white kitten heels. You are bound to get a perfect sunset picture to post on Instagram in this outfit!
Aspen, Colorado
You may not be escaping to warmer weather but you can definitely still impress people with your wardrobe while you are on the slopes. In order to prepare for a day filled with hot cocoa and skiing, you need this adorable snowsuit. For the jacket, you can never go wrong with a classic white Aritiza SuperPuff, it will keep you warm and stylish. To bring life to this outfit, you will need a fun snow pant. That is why these Goldbergh cheetah print snow pants are the way to go (no one ever said this would be a cheap Aspen trip). Since the jacket and pants are on the more expensive side, save your money on the boots. These white snow boots from Target are perfect dupes of the infamous Moon Boots for a fraction of the price.
Chicago, Illinois
Do not worry if you do not have an elaborate trip planned for this spring break. We even put together inspo for something as simple as a day trip to Chicago. Call up your girlfriends, buy a train ticket and explore the city! Start this effortlessly chic outfit with a simple jean skirt (assuming it is spring weather) and simple white t-shirt. While this may seem like a boring base to an outfit, you can really spice it up with your outer layers and accessories. Continuing with the assumption that it will be nice spring weather, a cute navy blue cardigan would be perfect to either wear or drape around your shoulders. Complete this look by tying in the blue from the cardigan to light blue Adidas Campus 00s Shoes. You can even add a cute headband to elevate the look. This staycation outfit will keep you looking your best!
Glacier County, Montana
If you find yourself hiking the beautiful mountains of Montana, we have just the outfit. You still have to be stylish for mother nature, of course. Start with this chic outfit with a charcoal green matching workout set from Alo yoga which offers comfort and style in one. For the chilly morning, add a cozy, green fleece jacket to match from Amazon. Complete this look with my favorite tennis shoe; the white Cloudnovas from Oncloud. A Lululemon belt bag would pair perfectly with this sporty outfit.
All in all, as spring break approaches, we think about the fun places we will go and the outfits we will wear. From beachy clothes for the Bahamas, to cute workout sets for the mountains, our clothes will fit the weather and vibe of each place. These four outfits can give you inspiration in order to have the most stylish wardrobe wherever you end up for spring break.
