REVIEW: The Jungle Book
It is the “Bare Necessity” to watch an incredible movie from the past.
Older Disney movies are being recreated to attract a bigger audience. Classic Disney movies
such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland have recently been re-made and have become a big hit. The Jungle Book is a classic Disney movie that hit theaters April 15 and sold out almost immediately.
It is a fun adventure-filled movie appropriate for the whole family. The plot is almost identical to the original movie that came out in 1967.
The opening scene begins on a positive note. Mowgli (Neel Sethi) lives in the jungle, and after an unfortunate incident, is forced to leave his home in search for a new place. Mowgli goes on an adventure where he makes friends and a few enemies. He has to learn the dangers of the jungle, and especially how to survive.
The entire movie is an emotional rollercoaster. From beginning to end, it is a movie about family and loyalty. There were some songs that made a blast from the past, such as “The Bare Necessities.”
“I love that they included some of the classic songs that we can sing along to, ” said Junior Miranda Morrow.
I would highly recommend watching The Jungle Book, and it is a good movie to watch with the entire family. Watching it in 3-D is better because of the realistic animations. It is an unforgettable adventure that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
