The average mushy-gushy, love story boy band.

Rixton was created by four English boys from Manchester, England. In 2012 the band began and was signed by Scooter Braun’s SB Projects. At first the band was called The Relics, but they later decided to change their name to Rixton. With songs written about love and relationships, Rixton is the typical boy band.

The band recorded their album, Let The Road, in 2013 and 2014. The single Me and My Broken Heart was released on March 14, 2014. This single peaked at number one on the UK Single Chart. Along with this popular song, three other songs from the album were released as part of an EP: Hotel Ceiling, We All Want the Same Thing and Appreciated. All of the songs on the album Let The Road have something to do with relationships, love and breakups.

Let The Road is a very heartwarming album that would appeal to the teenage girl audience. All of the songs on the album sound very much like One Direction’s music because there really isn’t much that sets Rixton apart from all the other boy bands. But in the end, Let The Road is filled with heartfelt lyrics that teenaged girls could easily relate their love lives to.
