Beyoncé once again proves she deserves her title as 'Queen Bey' in her latest music video.

Once again, the fierce and fearless Beyoncé surprised the world.
Not only did Beyoncé create an entire phenomenal album, complete with music videos, completely undercover in the past year, but she also recently released two new songs off of her “Beyoncé Platinum” box set, one of which being titled ‘7/11’. The music video for ‘7/11’ surfaced prior to the box set being released and pleased her millions of fans. The video itself already racked up over 36 million views, leading it to becoming viral in a single night. In the past, there were already multiple parodies of ‘7/11’ made, including a hilarious rendition performed by a group of men with actual kale.
The three and a half minute video includes Beyoncé dancing around playfully with some friends in what appears to be a hotel, wearing numerous pieces of clothing throughout the clip from knee pads and the new iconic ‘Kale’ crew neck, to graffitied underwear and ugly Christmas sweaters. The video, in addition to being completely different from her past music videos, is a lot more casual and fun, considering the video starts off with Beyoncé hitting the record button on what is assumed to be a camera, then proceeds to dance playfully, mocking the lyrics to her own song. Maybe Beyoncé is trying to prove that aside form being a world-known celebrity, her life isn’t all diamonds and first class red carpet events. She too, can have fun with the girls, dance through hotel corridors, wear crazy socks and make human pyramids in the bathroom. Beyoncé isn’t lying when she say’s that she’s “fresher than you.”
Regardless, this video is something new and different in media. It is daring, fearless and fun.
‘7/11’ is a clear representation of who ‘Queen Bey’ really is behind all of the ball gowns and class. It is, without a doubt, an energetic and entertaining video that will give any fan an irresistible urge to get up and move to the upbeat hip-hop vibe beats.
