On Nov. 10, freshmen in science teacher Saran Fay’s Honors Physics course got to put their skills to the test as they attempted to drop an egg on Fay’s head using their calculations. All the students had an egg-celent time getting to put their work into action, not to mention the fun they got to drop an egg on their teacher’s head.
“I made a deal with the kids: drop the egg on me, I clean it up. Miss me with the egg, they clean it up,” said Fay. There were plenty of misses, bulls-eyes and even an egg dropped on Fay’s foot, but all in all it was a fun and memorable lab for the students that they should not forget any time soon.
