Weston Fox going up for a basket against the Vernon Hills Cougars
The gym was full of heat as the boys basketball team fought to the very end on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at home against the Vernon Hills Cougars. Playing into overtime with the final score being 58-56, the boys did not come out with the win they wanted.
The team did everything they could to keep the score close, but with many fouls and many shots lost they were not able to pull through. The boys had great team work towards the very end, trying to take the ball way from the Cougars. It just was not enough.
