Senior Candace Nelson is not the basic, white converse and black leggings kind of girl. In other words, each day she is always keeping it new and exciting.

“My style varies; sometimes I feel like rocking mom jeans and a worn out T-shirt and other days I want to dress up and wear a printed dress and fun tights.”

Her bohemian-retro style is inspired by Urban Outfitters, which happens to be one of Nelson’s favorite places to shop.

“I mostly shop at Urban Outfitters because they have a wide range of clothes for just about any occasion,” said Nelson, “I dreamt about my outfit last night, in my dream this is what I was wearing.”

Nelson’s style is like no one else seen walking the halls of ACHS. She definitely stands out in a good way, leaving envious girls wanting to borrow clothes from her closet. Another reason Nelson’s style is one to turn heads is her carelessness to stand out from the crowd.

With her eclectic, yet edgy vibe one would think Nelson was definitely a buyer for Vogue in a past life.

“My favorite part of my outfit would have to be my sweater because I love wearing green. It brings out my Scottish and Irish heritage.”
