The idea of dressing your best is important to many people. Junior Karley Rosenquist seizes every opportunity to look her best, including today.

“I just like to dress classy because I feel like I stand out more,” Rosenquist said. “I feel like my wardrobe reflects my outgoing personality.”

Many people draw fashion inspiration from pop culture icons and celebrities, and Rosenquist is no exception.

“I really love the character Blair Waldorf from the television show Gossip Girl and she dresses very well every day too look and feel her best, so that inspired me to do the same,” Rosenquist said.

The popularity of the early 2000’s television show has recently inspired many female students. Teenagers watch the episodes over and over again. These same students idolize the character of Blair.

Rosenquist’s outfit consists of a blue button up with a decorated collar, a gray sweater that contrasts the vivid blue shirt, a bright pink headband to contrast the mostly blue outfit and to match with her fingernails, and a pair of strikingly blue velvet flats. The outfit is perfect for any occasion, from a day at school to a classy dinner with the family.

“I feel good when I dress up,” Rosenquist said. “Sometimes people compliment my outfits and it feels great.” S
