Our third magazine of the year is coming out tomorrow. Dubbed the “I” magazine, this is our largest magazine of the year, and we are excited to show it to you. We are trying something new this issue: there are augmented reality experiences placed throughout the magazine. It is difficult to explain what augmented reality is, so we encourage you to try it yourself. Using augmented reality in this issue of the Tom Tom can be set up in a few easy steps:

1. Download the “Aurasma” app on the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and create an account.
3. At the top of the app’s homepage, tap the “Discover Auras” search bar and search “TheTomTom”
4. Tap “TheTomTom” (the logo should be the one to the right) and hit the “Follow” and “Like” buttons.
5. Go back to the homepage of the app and hit the square button at the bottom.
6. Point your camera at the cover of the magazine to begin.

There are a wide variety of augmented reality experiences scattered throughout the entire magazine. To start, look for pages with the purple “Digital Extra” logo on the page. These pages will have additional content on them on distribution day; however, there may be more content added in the future on other pages.

We are beyond excited to try this new feature in the “I” magazine, and we welcome your feedback on it. The “I” magazine comes out tomorrow morning, and we hope you enjoy it.
