Summer is ending, and so are some of our favorite summer TV shows. Say goodbye to fan favorites, such as Rizzoli and Isles, which aired its last episode earlier this month. With the end of summer nearing, TV channels are making room for new fall TV premieres and the return of some of our favorite TV shows.

Some shows that will be premiering this fall include Designated Survivor, featuring Kiefer Sutherland, and Notorious, starring Piper Perabo and Daniel Sunjata. Both of those shows are premiering on ABC. A new twist on the classic horror movie, The Exorcist, is becoming a television series airing on Fox. Some fan favorites that will also be returning to our screens are American Horror Story, Law and Order: SVU and emotional tear-jerker Grey’s Anatomy.

“I am really looking forward to The Walking Dead returning this fall,” senior Emily Voykin said.

“I am really pumped for the return of Teen Wolf,” senior Caleigh Nixon said.

These new series and premieres are promoting high expectations for viewers, and are sure to keep us watching and wanting more throughout the entire fall season.
