One of the most exhilarating nights in NBA history happened on April 13. Golden State Warriors faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies, a game that decided history. Right before our eyes, Stephen Curry led his team to their 73rd victory. The Warriors now hold the all time regular season win record.
The record was last held by the famous 95′ 96 Bulls at 72 wins. For over 20 years, all NBA fans doubted this would ever happen. Golden State did more than just archive the impossible. Team leader Stephen Curry capped of the single season three point record at 402, breaking the previous record of 283 set by himself.
The game started off very close as the baskets were back to back by each team until Golden State scored several baskets taking the lead going into the 2nd quarter.
At half the Warriors lead 70-53. As they crowed roared on, Golden State took off, sinking three after three followed up by rebounds and lay ups. Although Memphis was not giving up, they could not come within four baskets of the outrageous Warrior offensive.
At the end of the night, the final was 125-104 in favor of Golden State. The Warriors shocked the nation as they made history once again.

This team would get trounced by Jordan’s Bulls. Can’t match the size, Dray/Klay would each respectively be the 4th option on ’96 Bulls.
