With finals already halfway done students and teachers alike are preparing for the happy holidays, while Model UN prepares for their next exciting conference. With winter break approaching, everyone has their minds set and ready for the holidays. The holidays are a hassle, but that does not stop Model UN from raising money for their upcoming conference at the University of Chicago this February.

“We are planning on going on overnight conferences, and we needed money to fund for the conference, hotel and transportation,” junior Caleigh Nixon said.

The conference itself is four days and can be expensive. That is why Model UN during the past few weeks has been raising money by selling donuts, cookies and soda to students.

In the end, they hope to raise enough money to fund their trip and to enjoy an exciting time at their next conference.
