This past Sunday, Sept. 14, the Marching Sequoits took second overall out of 12 schools at the Knights Marching tournament at Grayslake North High School. The music played by the band was by the composer John Williams. Those songs included music from well known films like “Star Wars,” “E.T.,” “Jaws,” “Superman,” “Jurassic Park” and Indiana Jones.

Along with the amazing performance by the band, their drum majors, Andre Rivera and Morgan Yankee, had the highest score, winning them them the Best Drum Major award. As Jonathan Untch had put it, “They had a near perfect score.”
