Throughout the past few years, frozen yogurt has become increasingly popular. Häagen-Dazs, Yoplait, and Ben & Jerry’s are a few popular frozen yogurt and greek frozen yogurt brands that are seen nationwide in supermarkets and even online.

For those in Antioch who try to get their hands on some delicious, frozen, ice-cream-like treat, a simple trip to Walmart or Jewel would suffice. But now, on March 7, Antioch will also be able to receive fresh, local, frozen yogurt right on Main Street.

Main Freeze is a new frozen yogurt shop which is opening next month, located at 902 Main Street, where the Infini-tea store was previously located, and is now co-owned by Sandy Miller and Cherée Molitor.

Antioch Community High School junior, Kaleigh Miller, is the daughter of Sandy, and looks forward to the grand opening and business experiences that she can learn from helping her mom.

“My mom decided to open Main Freeze because she has worked in the community for many years and wanted to try a new way to be in touch with all of our community friends,” said Miller. “[Main Freeze is] a great way to bring our own family together and teach us many things about business.”

The owners plan to contact the Antioch Chamber of Commerce to schedule a special grand-opening for the new store, and are extremely excited to introduce their new fun business to the community.

Main Freeze will offer frozen yogurt, beverages, and a great time for anyone looking to enjoy some of their great frozen yogurt.
