Antioch’s #1 haunted house reopened for its 3rd season this October. Macabre Haunt first opened in 2013 and ends yet another thrilling season this Halloween.

 This year Macabre Haunt went for an asylum theme, titling this season “Asylum II”.

Senior Ashley Cunningham, who works in the doll room, loves getting to work with some of her best friends, “This is my first year working at the haunted house, and I love it,” said Cunningham, “It is a really amazing experience to work there. I have a lot of fun scaring the people who walk through.”

Macabre Haunt, located at 882 Anita Ave. Antioch, IL, was rated “five chainsaws” by The Horror Tourers and one of the top five best haunted houses in the Chicagoland area by Play The Prairie.
