Last night, April 26, the District 117 Varsity lacrosse team won a big game against Marian Central, 13-4. Junior Gino Riforgiato finished the game with a hat trick; which is three goals in a single game. Senior Joshua Sidare was extremely happy with the win and the way the team performed.

“We had a good team game,” Sidare said. “The ball was shared evenly around the offensive players, and the defense only allowed one goal in the second half.”

Sidare plays defense for the team and has the honor of being one of the first ever captains of the D117 lacrosse team.

The team looks to keep up the intensity and keep their winning streak alive for their next home game against Lane Tech at Lakes.
