How to Bake: Kropsu
Finnish baked pancakes, also known as Pannkukkau or Kropsu.
Kropsu is a Finnish baked pancake. This dish is typically served with syrup, berries, sugar, whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar for a traditional Finnish breakfast meal.
Ingredients:
- Four eggs, beaten well
- One cup of flower
- Two cups of milk
- Two tablespoons of melted butter
- Three teaspoons of sugar
- One teaspoon of salt
Directions:
- Alternate adding the flower and milk to the eggs as they are mixed in a bowl.
- Add all the other ingredients while continuing to mix.
- Spray a 7×13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
- Cook at 425 degrees for 20 minutes (Kropsu will rise during cooking, and fall shortly after).
