A good impersonation can be instantly interesting, but when someone can perfectly impersonate ten popular rap artists can draw much more attention. User McAshHole used his impersonation skills to gain incredible amounts of popularity almost overnight. In his hilarious video he impersonates hip hop personalities like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty, and six others. The video is not only impressive because of his impression skills though.

Many hip hop fans have said that the most impressive part of his video is the impressions of the rapping styles the artists use. His voice matches up with the celebrities voices, but it is the rhymes, cadences, and ad-libs that really make fans double take when they listen and watch.  McAshHole uses the same kind of rhythm and rhymes that the famous rappers use in their most popular songs. He wrote each section to sound like the rapper he is impersonating wrote it. The subject of his bars also pertain to each rapper. He raps about what kind of car he drives when he impersonates Young Dolph, but then raps about the ghetto and hardships when he becomes Kodak Black. He also uses the sounds and ad-libs, like 21 Savage’s “21”, to perfect effect. The most obvious examples of the great ad-libs are when he uses Lil Uzi’s “Yeah” and “What”, Young Dolph’s “Uh Hu”, and Lil Yachty’s “Lil Boat”.

He also dresses up as the rappers. This aspect of the video has had a huge effect on the popularity. His visual representations of the rappers are extremely exaggerated and hilarious. He goes to extremes like braiding his hair in little bumps to look like Kodak Black and putting a dress on to impersonate the outfit Young Thug wore on the cover of his most recent album, titled “Jeffery”. He even uses the same type of body language that the rappers use, like Lil Uzi Vert’s eyeroll, Kevin Gates’s lip snarl, and even Fetty Wap’s missing eye.
