The boys golf team comes out strong at Grant’s course on Tuesday, September 19. The team defeated the Bulldogs behind the efforts of Nicholas Farino. The Sequoits played very well as a team and individually.

Teamwork has always been a strength for the boys behind head coach Andrew Benton. In just Benton’s first year of coaching, improvements in teamwork have been made, also in their record as they are sustaining a .500 record.

“The team is working well together and getting along,” Anthony Galante said. “We have won about half our matches so far. There has been a few that we probably should have won that we just kind of choked on, so I think we are better than our record shows us to be.” 

The team is now on a four game win streak, and they are working towards winning conference title. The boys next match is September 21 playing against the Wauconda Bulldogs.
