The lady Sequoits fell short of a victory April 10 against the Warren Blue Devils with a 6-2 loss in the rain.

The first half concluded with Antioch scoring two goals and Warren scoring six. Defensively both teams struggled in the second half, despite no goals actually being scored.

“Our challenges today was our breakdown in our defense. We needed to be stronger defensively and mark our players more tightly,” Antioch Community High School senior and captain Haley Capek said. “Our team had an overall great game offensively. Winning is always great, but I love the competitiveness and being able to connect with my team and creating plays.”
