The lady Sequoits, led by senior Hannah Cook, fell behind in a five school tournament. The Sequoits faced off against Harvard, Lakes, Grant and Grayslake on Saturday but fell short.

With a combined team score of 476, the lady Sequoits finish in last as they could not find a victory on Saturday.

“None of us were happy with our scores,” Cook said. “We know what we have to work on this week in order to improve for our next tournament.”

According to Cook, who placed tenth, the lady Sequoits could not continue their strong performances into Saturday’s tournament as they had wished, but they have high expectations as the season goes on.

“Even after the loss everyone still has confidence in themselves,” Cook said. “We are just trying to look forward on our season.”

The lady Sequoits ultimate goal is to finish better than how they started.
