Since the renovation of Wilmot Mountain by Vail Resorts, many activities at Wilmot Mountain have been improved. Wilmot Mountain has many fun things to do during the winter season for those thrill-seekers out there. From racing on skis, to sitting down for dinner at Walt’s Tavern, no matter what one does, it is guaranteed to be an epic time. Here are four fun things to do at Wilmot Mountain.
- Tubing
Recently added to Wilmot’s list of winter activities, tubing attracts people from all over the world. The tubing hill has 22 lanes that are over 1000 feet long, with two conveyors to get right back up in order to tube again. No need to bring any equipment, because Wilmot provides the tube.
- Skiing and snowboarding
Rain, snow, sleet or shine, anytime is a good time to ski or snowboard. With Wilmot Mountain’s new renovations, they have over 56 new snowmaking guns. Wilmot Mountain features 23 trails to ride and seven ski lifts to bring skiers and snowboarders back to the top of the mountain.
- Lessons
Whether trying it for the first time or getting back into the swing of snowboarding or skiing, WIlmot Mountain has lessons available for anyone from three years old to teenagers. With half or full day lessons from Wilmot’s professional staff, they are sure to make anyone sharpen up their skills on the snow.
- Racing
After mastering the art of skiing, the next challenge is racing. Wilmot’s professional coaches are prepared to help skiers hit those gates and win races.
