Since it’s cold outside and we tend to move around slightly less, here are some quick-and-easy recipes that keep you healthy when you’re cooped up from the cold.

  1. Apple and Banana Smoothie

You only need one frozen banana, one half cup orange juice, one gala apple, one-fourth cup milk and a blender to make this refreshing and delicious smoothie.

  1. Parmesan Baked Cauliflower

You need eight ounces of cauliflower, one cup bread crumbs, one third cup parmesan cheese, salt and two eggs.

If you would like to also make a ketchup-mayo dipping sauce, you would also need two tablespoons of ketchup, two tablespoons mayonnaise and one half tablespoon of honey.

  1. Baked Honey and BBQ Chicken Fingers

For this great snack you’ll need a pound and a half of boneless chicken breast, three fourths of any BBQ sauce, one fourth of honey, one half cup of whole wheat flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, 2 eggs, one-and-a-half cups of panko and some non-stick cooking spray.

  1. Chive “Cream Cheese” Spread and Veggie Crackers

What you need for the Chive “Cream Cheese” Spread is two cups cashew nuts, one half cup of water, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 clove of garlic, one teaspoon apple cider vinegar, one half teaspoon of himalayan salt and five teaspoons of chopped chives. This makes about one and half cups of spread.

To make the crackers you will need two cups of almonds, one cup broccoli, three carrots, one onion, one half cup of flax seed, one cup of water, one half cup of Himalayan salt and black pepper, and one fourth cup of soy sauce. This will make about five dozen crackers.

  1. Easiest Slow Cooker Applesauce

This is the easiest of all the recipes, but also the longest to cook.

You only need 10 apples, three fourth cup of water and one half tablespoon of organic cinnamon. You also need a slow cooker to cook the apples.
