Antioch Community High School sophomore Paul Adams has been a fan of Mac Miller and recently listened to Circles. Adams shares his thoughts on the album and Miller’s career.
“Miller’s old projects put him on the map for a good reason,” Adams said. “I like his new album because it really brings out the chill and sad vibes he gives throughout all of his music.”
Circles consists of 12 songs, with the eighth song featuring hip-hop/rap artist Baro Sura. Circles discusses a lot of Miller’s personal problems and mental state, specifically on the eleventh song of the album, “Surf”.

J.Cole: The Fall Off
Cole announced that he has been working on an official follow-up album to his 2018 album KOD. Around the time that KOD dropped, Cole revealed that he has been working on The Fall Off since 2016. ACHS junior Logan Phillips has been a huge Cole fan since his first album was released back in 2014.
“I’m excited for this album because I did not think his album in 2018 was that good and I’m hoping this one will be better,” Phillips said. “I think this album will be better than his other ones because he has taken a lot of criticism to make it the best it can be.”
The Fall Off does not have an official release date yet, although it will be out sometime in 2020.
One thing that all of these artists have in common is their albums coming out in 2020. Make sure to watch for their release.
