FITNESS TIP TUESDAY: Building Endurance
Building endurance is a necessity to becoming a healthier and more fit person.
Endurance can benefit anyone, even if they do not participate in a sport. Daily breathing and walking to and from class may not seem like tough work, but can be tiring without proper endurance.
Endurance is how long a person can work; getting a persons endurance up can help with sports and everyday activities. It isn’t easy, but doing this will help in the long run.
“It allows people to push their limits and reach new highs,” said Zach Tokarczyk. “It takes time and effort.”
To get a persons endurance up running a mile or two five out of the seven days of the week will slowly work up the endurance limit of the person, and once the runs are becoming easier and the body is becoming less fatigued start increasing the mileage and even increase the amount of running per week or even day. Once that becomes easier then there are other options by making runs long and slow or short and fast or even do sprints over a period of time will help the person’s endurance.
Getting a persons endurance up is hard and time consuming but doing this hard work will help a person become fit and healthier.
