DIY: Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits
These mouth watering biscuits are almost guaranteed to make any day better.
The Red Lobster chain was established in March of 1968 in Lakeland, Fla., according to the Official Red Lobster Website. Many who has visit the chain try the cheddar bay biscuits, and some may wonder how to make them at home.
“Those biscuits at Red Lobster, the cheddar biscuits are carbohydrates gold,” ACHS staff member Makaila House said.
This a simple recipe from Food.com that can help anyone make excellent biscuits at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Bisquick
- ⅔ cups milk
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
Directions:
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Combine Bisquick with 4 Tablespoons melted butter.
- Add in milk and cheddar cheese.
- Stir together.
- Spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, combine 2 Tablespoons butter, garlic powder and old bay seasoning.
- Heat until butter is melted.
- Spoon butter mixture over hot biscuits.
Serve warm for best results.

Griffin Hackeloer is a senior at ACHS. This is his second year on the Tom Tom staff. As a returning member of the staff, he is excited to be a part of producing magazines with the Tom Tom family.
