Kanye’s attempt echoes prior T-Swift incident.

If you watched this year’s Grammys, then you probably saw Kanye West’s most recent infamous, not to mention rude, incident.
After several outstanding performances from artists such as Paul McCartney, Sam Smith and Madonna, the anticipation and wait for the “Album of the Year” winner finally came to an end as Prince took to the stage to announce.
Beck’s “Morning Phase” claimed the title of “Album of the Year.”
Angry Beyonce fans were outraged. One of these outraged fans included Kanye West.
As Beck received the Grammy, West tried pulling off something similar to the VMA interruption of Taylor Swift he pulled in 2009, except he did not actually pull through to intervene with Beck, instead, he let him finish.
West then continued to laugh it off and claim that it was a joke reenacting the Swift event.
However, it was not until after the show West expressed some inappropriate comments towards Beck. West believes that Beck should “respect artistry” and give his award to Beyonce. If this is true, then it appears that West is the one disregarding artistry by acting childish and unprofessional, who thinks it is okay to cause havoc at the Grammys.
In my opinion, West should do some research on what the word “artistry” even means before using it against Beck, considering the artist plays over ten instruments and writes most, if not all, of his music.
West needs to take a seat and stop slamming Beck. It is not his fault he won, right? West is only making himself look foolish. With that being said, Beck still respects West despite his inappropriate behavior, and is shocked about how he won over ‘Queen Bey.’
“How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?” said Beck on West to US Weekly.
West has yet to apologize for his behavior.
