Sugar scrubs can often be quite expensive but you can make your very own scrub with very few and simple ingredients you will most likely be able to find in your home. You can also change ingredients and amounts based on your personal liking and preference. Ingredients: Sugar (white or brown) Oil (coconut or olive) Optional: Personal choice of essential oils or extracts Optional: Sugar sprinkles

I also made lip scrub using the same recipe, but in place of essential oils I used peppermint extract so it would give my lips a minty flavor instead of leaving behind the bad taste that the essential oils produce.. I also added red sugar sprinkles to make it look more holiday festive and to go along with the peppermint theme. Everyday Roots used honey in replace of oil for their lip scrub because of the many healing and moisturizing qualities honey has.
