Bulls Slowly Falling
The Bulls struggle after a week of wins and strong play.
The Chicago Bulls may have had an amazing week last week, but have plummeted very fast. They went from a four game win streak against some of the league’s best teams to losing three straight games to teams that may not even make the playoffs. Jimmy Butler has been producing his usual number of high points but even that is not enough to keep the Bulls above .500.
Against the Magic, the 12-time All-Star Dwyane Wade had to sit out with a quadricep injury. The Bulls need his veteran presence in order for the team to get back on the winning path. Wade looks to be back as soon as possible, but could be getting limited reps because of the wear and tear of the NBA season.
During the game against the Magic, the Bulls were up by ten at the half, but then lost the entire lead in third quarter. Senior and avid bulls fan Dylan Parker expresses his feelings about Wednesday’s loss.
“It is very frustrating to see that they can compete against teams like the Warriors and Celtics, but then go and play the Magic or Pistons and lose the lead,” Parker said.
