Being the streaky team that they are, the Bulls have found themselves on a hot streak. On Wednesday night, they took down one of the top teams in the league; the Thunder, by 28 points. The team was led by all-star Jimmy Butler, with a scoring outburst of 28 points. The Thunder have had an outstanding season led by MVP candidate Russell Westbrook, who is averaging a triple-double throughout the season. The Bulls will take on the Houston Rockets on Friday night, who have the next MVP candidate James Harden.

There has been a lot of tension between the team owners and the players. Butler and Dwyane Wade have formed a bond because they have both had mistrust in their front office. Wade had trouble with his former team owner Pat Riley, and Butler has felt the same way. There may be some big players on the move in the near future for the Bulls. Avid Bulls fan Marc Gillespie does not wish for Butler to leave the organization.

“I really hope Jimmy Butler does not leave the Bulls because he is a vital piece to the team and now is an all-star starter,” Gillespie said.
