Bulls’ Close Win Over Pacers
Despite the Pacers’ second half comeback, the Bulls came out victorious and were able to gain their third straight win.
The Chicago Bulls took on the the Indiana Pacers on Monday, Nov. 16 at the United Center and came out on top with a 96-95 win.
The Bulls immediately led the game with a score of 31-21 at the end of the first quarter, and although the Pacers came back and won each quarter after that, it was not quite enough to beat the Chicago team.
“I think that the Bulls show a lot of pride and spunk on the court,” said senior Jake Cloe. “And I truly believe that that’s what basketball is all about.”
Despite the loss of key player Derek Rose in the fourth quarter due to ankle injury, the Bulls were able to use their defensive skills and teamwork to seal the win.
“The Bulls struggled to score at the end of the game when Derek Rose was not playing,” said senior Trevor Koch. “But their teamwork and ball movement definitely opened up the floor for good shots.”
